Three Day Intensive Training Workshop on Innovative/Best Practices in NeGP-Agriculture & Allied Sectors from 24-26 March, 2015 in collaboration with Department of Agriculture, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, Port Blair.

The participants could be the Nodal Officers, State Project Management Officers and Project Implementers related to Agriculture and Allied Sectors.
- Level of Officers: Assistant Directors and above
- Years to Superannuation/Retirement: At least three years remaining
- Past Experience in IT related activities: Preferable
Objective(s):
- Take stock of the National IT Infrastructure and e-Governance Life Cycle
- Assess the present status of Implementation of NeGP-Agriculture and Allied Sectors under MMPs
- Enable cross learning of experiences from the Phase-I of NeGP-A in implementing States
- Understand the elements of Innovation and parameters/ethos that promotes Innovations/Best practices in NeGP-Agriculture and Allied Sectors.
- Identifying and creating a pool of Champions, Trainers and Implementers
- Understanding the elements of Reforms, Technology Management, Change Management, Capacity Building, Financial Management, Stakeholder Management and Programme/Project Management for ensuring success for Mission Mode Projects (MMPs)
- Undertake field visit to learn from showcased successful initiatives
- Work in groups, brainstorm, capture processes, hands-on learning during the 3 day workshop to ensure free flow of knowledge from the innovator to learner
- Prepare an Implementable Action Plan (one per State) and ensure its buy-in from top leadership
- Continue engagement with the ongoing Process & Development of the e-Governance initiatives under the MMPs
