1 | Key Roles and Responsibilities / Job Profile | - To design methods and procedures for obtaining statistical data by adopting relevant sampling techniques.
- To carry out background research, literature reviews and peer discussion for initiating data collection and survey.
- To design surveys, questionnaires, FGD’s, statistical evaluation designs, pre-analysis plans, sample size calculations and data collection instruments.
- To design study methodology for impact evaluation, process evaluation, monitoring system, diagnostic assessments and scale-up plans using the Statistical and Econometric tools.
- To undertake collection and compilation of data from various sources including primary and secondary sources, sift through the data in detail and data assembly in a structured format.
- To have a sharp aptitude for detecting the data patterns, trends, anomalies (if any) in the data and initiate corrective measures.
- To analyse and interpret the collected data and test its effectiveness on random and structured basis, assess its suitability vis-a vis the allocation of resources through statistical, econometric models, empirical testing and latest software.
- To prepare draft reports, presentations, coordination with stake holders and get the final approval from the higher authority. Submit the final technical and analytical reports.
- To write technical and non-technical reports and policy briefs on economic trends and forecasts
- To explain the research methodology adopted and justify the conclusions drawn from statistical data
- To provide economic and development advice based on the statistical inferences to a wide range of stakeholders i.e: Govt, Private, NGO, Corporate, Social and Community based enterprises.
- To document, disseminate, replicate Innovative Practices in Education, Health, Urban Governance, E-Governance, Environment, Climate change, Disaster Management, Biodiversity, land Management, Rural Development and other emerging fields based on the requirement.
- To coordinate the work relating to the conduct of workshops, seminars, webinars, meetings, Video conferences and all related activities.
- To prepare minutes of meeting, letters, reports & concept notes etc.

2 | Desired Profile | - Age – Preferably not more than 45 years (However, this may be relaxed if candidate has exceptional skills sets & Knowledge)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good command over English Language
- Good drafting capacity
- Strong data analysis skill is preferred
- Must be a good team player as well individual contributor with excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Able to organize work with proper tracking, closing out tasks and attention to details
- A Self-starter with Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies
- Sound knowledge of Statistical / Economic software’s with ability to use necessary databases
- Ability to think critically to maximize methodological rigor, operational and administrative efficiency, strictly adhere to budget and time limits.
- Passion for Innovation, social transformation and social impact activities would be helpful.
- Willingness to travel
- Willingness to Work at odd hours especially on holidays as and when required
- Willingness to undertake tours all over India to carry out official work.
- Working experience in Administration/Accounts.

4 | Desirable Experience | - Experience of working in Public/Private/Reputed organisations/NGOs in the capacity of Manager – Administration /Accounts.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills will be desirable.
- A Two years’ professional experience working on economic issues and Statistical analysis
- Ability to conduct research and analysis on difficult, but well-defined tasks; articulate issues and recommend solutions.
- Leveraging software’s, algorithms and other technologies related to statistics and economic analysis
- Research in the fields of healthcare, education, environment, rural development, Policy advocacy etc. would be an added advantage.
- Having worked with the managers of private or public organization and government agencies and understanding their needs and preference would be helpful
